Those with non-technical interest in security could follow the track
“Legal and Psychological Aspects” or the Small and Medium Businesses track.
In stead of visiting the plenary session by Andy Clark (in the morning) you could visit one of the expositions, or had a look at the workshop Cryptology, where high school students studied the practical side of deciphering.
But maybe you wanted to get acquainted yourself with the secrets of secret writing? That was possible in the track “Crypto for beginners”.
The Crypto workshop was given by prof.dr. Tanja Lange and drs. Christiane Peters (TU/e). This workshop was situated in the room left of the conference desk.
The plenary session in the afternoon was about Identity Theft. This session was in English. It started with an interview with Charles den Tex, author of thrillers and multiple winner of the Gouden Strop (the main Dutch thrilleraward), who for his latest book has researched the world of identity theft.
